Show off! Razz Razz

I am slowly and methodically working through the bracelets. Now that the bugs are out of my computer I should be working much faster now. I got through a page and a half yesterday.

Hey that's not showing off - it's really been thought to spur others to do work; I guess all gallery admins wish to have finished that Sisyphos task of tagging these 7,000+ entries, somewhen. And I must admit: I'm somewhat lazy and have to pull my hat before you, as I hesitated to tackle bracelets or necklaces, due to their sheer number, and so crawl through the smaller jewellery categories.

Necklaces are halfway done. Smile I started at the end and am working to the beginning...and I think I'm on page 18 right now. *flex*

I was going to ask...there are some chokers that are tagged as necklaces right now. I've been double tagging them (both choker and necklace) but should they be tagged only as chokers??

Yeah, it's kind of a subjective term... I'd say it's fine to leave them tagged as both. People looking specifically for chokers will still find them if they click on chokers. The necklace tag might be a bit redundant, but it's not a big deal really. Smile

Seriously you guys... you're doing a great job and I truly appreciate it.

OK, and as I am currently at the chokers, Smile I use following tagging:
All get the tag 'choker' but not 'necklace'. The exception is, if the word 'necklace' was used in the description - in that case it got tagged also as necklace.

I hope that's ok? If not, tell me and I'll correct the couple of entries.

Another question. As far as tags go, what would be considered a "modification" versus a "variation"?

Just want to remind you guys as you move into more areas of the gallery to make sure you tag each picture with, at the very least, one of the following tags: Jewelry, Armor, Material, Accessory, Clothing, Inlay, Tools, Workspace, or Location. Once they have at least a main category tag, then you can start tagging them with the more specific ones.

Also, I will be starting on the Materials category next.

Yep. When in doubt, go with the main category that the item is listed under on the tagging page. Smile
