Where's Cynake when you need him? I'd have liked to see his response to Jex.

The Pawlow reflex works - BigT's reaction ist the proof. Very Happy

We might try it @Jex, too. But imho the best would be to ignore that individuum, until it writes with sense, AFTER having acquired the necessary info to be able to tell its wishes good enough to be answerable with some sense at all...

This is just a small child, that stands on the mountain and says "I'm right and your wrong. "!

I'm with Phong on this one, saying he wants to get DL kicked off of here, who does his guy think he is? Mute his A44 Razz

BigTitann,

We just meant that you would tell him like it is but ZiLi's right the best course of action really is to ignore the troll.

This situation does remind me of a while ago when we were having trouble with a certain poster that wouldn't spell and had a fighting attitude. This poster has now become a really good member of this community, in my opinion, let us hope Jex comes around in the same way. Although, Cynake certainly would have loved this one.

Big T - Don't worry we are just reminiscing.

OK not to oversimplify or to insult, but I think people are remembering back to a short time back when you were the Jex of today.

By the way I have been wanting to compliment you for quite some time on how much your posting has improved, not only in quality, but in content. I can now understand what you are saying. Thank you for becoming a great contributing member of this community.

Not necessarily, as EVERYBODY has a weak spot here or there, or two or three, that are useable to trigger such a reflex... But someone must have been really sure about, that 'Ann featuring properties' would be a trigger for a well-known forum member who some people remember having had a behavior in need to get used to, somewhen...

And it DID WORK. Very Happy

Dictionaries are your friend.
Reminisce--To talk or write about memories of the past, especially pleasant memories. (source)

As for the Pawlow comment, I believe he meant to say Pavlov. Pavlov was well known for researching classical conditioning in dogs. I don't feel like explaining Pavlov's experiment right now. You can look it up yourself, if you so desire.

yep - Pavlov was meant. See, it's not always easy to transliterate Cyrillic to the alphabet we are used to - so phonetic transliteration can sometimes result in 'v' or 'w', depending on target language - my native one is German...

Just compare http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivan_Pavlov and http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iwan_Petrowitsch_Pawlow

Huh, I guess that makes sense. A 'w' is pronounced like a 'v' in German, isn't it? I did see that name, Iwan Pawlow, in my research (to make sure I was giving the right info), but it did not occur to me that they were the same person.
