Has anyone thought about adding in RSS feeds into the website when a new gallery / article / weaves been added in?

Just a suggestion.

i have no idea what an RSS is..

but there used to be animated gifs online for boxchain, byzantine and japanese6. they were removed 5 or more years ago because of the amount of questions they got about it..

it would be cool ot see more.

RSS (really simple syndication)

News sites use it a lot, basically when a new story or something is added, an XML style of file gets generated to a specific location that people can link to through a RSS feed reader (freeware).

In this program you can set it up to check something every 10 mins, half hour, X specific increment and it pops up and tells you what has been changed / added.

Nothing that's a vital to the site mind you, just a suggestion for when something gets updated / added.

I think it's a good idea. Even though as an admin I see a lot, I can sometimes miss new submissions. Maybe the feed could just say "New on MAIL today: Gallery - ..... Weaves - ....... Articles - ......." And just fill in what was added if anything. If none, leave the category out, if nothing at all, write "Nothing new on MAIL today."

Hmmm, I'm slightly sceptical of 'broadcast bloating' some things need an up to the minute feed. Other things there's less of a case for.

Checking new posts (if your keychain is set up correctly is about 2 clicks deep) If there is new stuff on threads you've already posted on or subscribed to then an e-mail pops into your inbox.

I wonder about the person whom needs up to the minute information on all the vast technical changes going on in the red hot bleeding edge world chain maille. It taking a relaxing hobby and trying to make it hectic.
