Welcome to your newest addiction Very Happy yay!
First off, you'll need 2 pairs of pliers, and spot where you can find some cheap wire. Galvinized Steel wire is the cheapest that's available, and you can usually find it in hardware stores.
My first suggestion would be to start small, and learn how to make a few weaves, then make something simple, like a bracelet. Take it from there, and never be afraid to ask questions around here, we don't bite Smile

don't forget that you'll need to make yourself some kind of mandrel to wind coils of wire on, then cut into rings....i suggest starting with 14 or 16 guage 3/8'' rings....very useful for european weaves...

Never move to Tampa. The only stuff you can find here that isn't more than 60 cents a foot is copper.

Start out with small projects. I decided to skip the apprentice stuff, and head straight for a bracer. It can stop a dagger, but it came out ugly as sin.

Make sure one of your pairs of pliers is a roundnose. They may not have the grip of needlenose, but they make your rings look a helluva lot better.

Don't be afraid to ask for advice about specific situations. use pictures if you're having trouble.

Master a weave before you move on the next one. Start with the Japanese, then the Euro, then the Persian, then others. ( my own path suggestion).
