Oh? Then I suggest really hard/complex weaves only, since I like those so much. I realize there aren't very many of them, but it's subjective, so it should work.

I think TrenchCoatGuy meant weaves in the weaves database that have the tag "Beginner"; that is, what the weaves admins have decided are beginner weaves, not some vague subjective thing about which weaves are easy.

There isn't a corresponding tag in the weaves database for complex weaves, however, so that would be entirely vague and subjective.

I'll second Irony (hopefully with the caveat that you can't just make anything you want out of iron/steel rings)

I'll also second love, beginner, and micromaille.

I'd like to suggest home items (since I'm currently buying my first home). This is anything that goes in your home, be it a wall hanging inlay, a basket, a coat hook, a cd rack....

I'm all for Micromaille, though I do understand it being a limited entry contest. I like the vague definition of it.

TCG's suggestion seems to be reasonable and a genuine suggestion. Like kerravonsen said, there actually is a weave tag for "Beginner" weaves. Could you let me know if "really hard/complex weaves only" is a real suggestion please? I'm not sure if you are being serious or sarcastic.

Why would I be sarcastic about that, and why would his suggestion be unreasonable? I really don't know what to make of this stuff sometimes. Take my previous post at face value.
I am well aware there's a "beginner" tag, but the absence of one for "difficult" should not lessen the validity of my own suggestion, if that's what you're getting at. If anything, that should make it even better, since I gather the point is to be more likely to vote for an entry the more closely it fits the theme, rather than just disqualifying whatever doesn't fit well enough.

The reason I asked is because you didn't just suggest it. You made it a direct response to TCG's suggestion instead, so I honestly wasn't sure. I was not questioning the validity of your suggestion, I was only asking if it was a real suggestion, or a response to TCG. I meant nothing offensive. Confused

micromaille hasn't been suggested yet, but micro-maille (.02"/.50mm or smaller wire) has. Would you like to suggest just micromaille or would you like to second micro-maille (.02"/.50mm or smaller wire)?

For the sake of clarity, I will suggest "micromaille" (without the restriction of saying it must be of a particular wire thickness).

Theme: micromaille

I second micromaille.
I second macromaille.

There is no such thing as weave ownership. If someone produces a weave sample, they own that physical piece of mail, but not rights to the weave pattern itself.
