Well, I can't say it is anywhere near finished (more like just begun) but I didn't see anything in the rules that said it had to be, and really, I just wanted to post. Smile

I know spools of Parawire when I see them Very Happy
Mine is even more unfinished than yours... Hence the lack of submitting anything for the contest... Work just kicked into high gear and took over my life... Sad really Sad

Soon enough though, I'll post my inlay seperately!

Yep! Lots and lots of parawire. Smile I need to do some more cutting but I've been sick this weekend so I've just been working on weaving.

Here's my submission. Sunset in Maille. 16 ga 3/16" copper, brass, galvy, anodized aluminum, and enameled copper. I couldn't finish the framing part, but the inlay is complete. Approaching 10k rings.

As the brass and copper age and tarnish, it will look like the light is dimming as it would in a real sunset. Very Happy

Here's a closer look at the sunbeams:

Oh. Right. Euro 4 in 1 the wrong way, as if you all didn't know. Wink
Shame that the shine of the dark green enameled copper doesn't pop in the pics like it does in RL.

There are some truly awesome submissions in here. The Fett, the flowers, the castle, and all. There are some VERY talented people here!

Edit: It's 15" X 15". Perfect for the wall.
