Hey all, so I fell in love with Crotalus after seeing GawthFrawg's necklace. I began researching it and examining the piece I was making. I looked at legba's tut and thought about other ways that the weave could be put together until it dawned on me. Crotalus is European 4 in 1 squished together.

Right lean ))))))))

Right lean ))))))))

Euopean 4 in 1, the standard ascii verion. When all the 'Right lean' rows also connect to the other 'Right lean' rows, and the same of the 'left lean' rows, you get Crotalus, or a slight variation (subtle)

SO! What I did then is up the AR, make European 6 in 1 and 'crotalus-ize' it creating my new weave: Castanet


I'll try and get a better 'detail' picture later, but this is what I could come up with quick. Essentially though, each silver ring (if you expanded along its width rather than length) would go into 6 black rings and 2 silver rings, crotalus would go into 4 black rings and 2 silver rings. The black ones would do just the opposite as well (6 or 4 silver and 2 black)


I finally add some semblance of a signature. And It's all because of the...
