this is my latest , I guess being off the pliers for a few days lets the mind work.
frontal view

edge view

its unbalanced 4-1(five wide, on the long) with berus side rails, its 1mm sterling 3.8mm ID(u4-1) and 3.35(berus side rails)
this stuff will stand on edgy but is just flexible enough to be comfortable on your wrist. This would make a great watch band

Very Happy I quite pleased with myself on this one Coif Smiley

Very nice, it took me a second to identify the weave and then when you said it it all made sense.

Good job, you should be very proud.

Very nice, ORS!
I love the way that the clasp is the centerpeice, but the strap is an essential part of the design. The E4-1UB has such an organic texture, truly reflecting the victorian elements of the clasp. Very nice in concept, design and workmanship. A very successful piece.

The Berus style edging is a nice touch to the E4U. Personally, E4U is one of my favorite weaves at the lower end of its AR range. That does seem to go very well with that clasp. Nice work.

Very nice, onering! Its cool! It looks like you could make this weave into a bangle, don't you think? I've never tried that particular weave. I'm really liking that clasp, too.

Oooo with the liver of sulfur patina and then the buffing there will be black down in the tighter parts of the weave. That will look really good. Be sure to post pics.

thanks ED Smile
it is a neat weave I am glad I got to playing with it !
@Jfair not quite bangle worthy , while I was able to get away with undoing the clasp and standing up to walk around without it falling off a game of pool(and probably less) would cost me the bracelet for sure, maybe if it were a little tighter ,but I'm not sure I could make it any tighter without completely trashing the rings. Sad

I will post more pics with the patina, ColdC Very Happy

I really like this. I think its because I'm on a kick of solid e4in1 in whatever form it may take. I should be going to bed but I think I'll work on a project for a bit...I'll have to see if I can figure this weave out I really like the texture of it.

Question: would it work with some rubber rings included?? If so...care to tell me how it would look best?

Lovely stuff. Great weave, great piece but sorry, horrible background to be taking pics of it on. I'd love to see this on a plain dark background, without anything to distract the eye.

I like it. The clasp goes great with the weave.

Looks nice, Oops is such a cool weave. Smile But I agree with Legba that the background is distracting.
