Interesting concept. If that would work for me - I don't know, but I guess, parts of will. Just compare your to my experiences in modifying pliers - I took a different, a bit more conservative path, and also included the plier head form modification as a major part of getting a convenient to use tool. those are excellent alterations. i have tried that alternation myself before, but didn't get results that good and had to take the tape off. good article Very Happy
