I recently went to a welding shop and picked up a tungston electrode for TIG welding, and said to my self that would be a good mandrel so i went and got a tungston 1/8 electrode about 7 in long it works grate i havent had to replace it yet, i've been using the same one for over 4 miles of 620 ssteel .035 wire and it has not event so much as bent or dented (the paint on the end did come off though Very Happy ) the steel one i was using befor would worp in about 1/5 of a mile of that,so.. I'd like to get some bigger rods of it but can't find it in my area

Do any of you know were larger ones may be sold?

Probably the only place I can think of, would be Metals Superstore in Calgary, and I doubt even they would have it.
