If I post up a picture or send a picture to someone would they be able to make the IGP Inlay for me?
I want to do my family crest
something that would look like this but with the picture I send/post?

Have you tried installing IGP? You can find it here.

Athough if it doesn't work for you for some reason,
what ring and wire size, and how big would you want the inlay to be? Also, which way do you want the weave to hang? That might depend on whether this is for a shirt or something like a wall hanging.

My computer is O-L-D so i fear if I download the required parts for the program it will just lock the computer up...
Im not making this for a shirt, I'm actually just going to make a square of it and frame it for the wall at my house. I would like the actual crest part to be between 10-12 inches square... not sure if that possible or not though. and I'd like to use 18G 3/16" I.D. rings.
Any help is much much appreciated on this because it is going to be a wedding gift to my fiancee in just over 4 months.

Would you be okay with using 16ga 3/16" rings? I think it would work a lot better.

yeah i would be fine with either that or using 18g 1/4" ID rings... I already have a tone of 18g 1/4" ID rings but I didnt know if the weave would be tight enough to look good... but either 16g 3/16" or 18g 1/4" is fine by me

Okay, both of these are done in 16ga 3/16" rings. The first one is done with the weave hanging the "wrong" way, and the second one is done with the weave hanging the "right" way. Personally, I think that the first one came out better, but that's for you to decide. And if you want anything changed, feel free to ask.
