Cause the mini bolt cutters i use are shaped like that, but i've been able to close the ring in such a way as to provide no gap bet ...

What you all think? E4-1, 3/8"ID, butted, 14 gauge galvy steel, weight somewhere around 20 lbs. Done in under 8 months (Hey I had other stuff going on, or it woulda been done sooner.) Very Happy

Yah I wanted to make sure I wasn't stripping the zinc coating is all.

Ah thanks for the quick reply I will try that.

I wonder will the rings still be coated in zinc after i do the salt and vinegar solution? Or will this process remove the zinc coating?

Ok so I've been working on a maille shirt and I kinda stopped work on it for the last 3 weeks or so.

And It has discoloration on it from me stopping and starting 2 different times.
