You may try rebar tie wire from a building supply.
residential suppliers will have smaller spools while Industrial suppliers will have much larger options.

It can be frustrating, even the same alloys can be different colors.

It takes a bit of experamenting to find something your happy with.
A few things to try.
Shorter rivets, it should make things less bendy.
