i cut stainless (16-21ga) and ti (18-20ga) with bulldog snips. it's taken thousands of rings to wear them down a little bit.

i'm a trained welder. there is an easy way to tell it wire is flux cored.

the letter "T" means tubular or flux cored. The letter "S" means solid.

ER70S-2 = electrode rod 70, ...

in north america we size welding wire in inches, mainly decimal inches. .023 .030 .035 .040 .045 .052 1/16th 3/32.

you can just go to a scrap yard and buy some thin scrap steel. around here its 50 cents a lb right now. it'd be a lot of work making scales tho. would be way easier to just buy some

i like that there is a picture of the not tao weaves and a ring size given. i also appreciate how easy they are to find right now. they look great and being on the weaves page makes it easier to show ...
