personally i think that making your own rings is cheaper and it also gives you the satisfaction of saying that you made the whole thing yourself. especally when you can buy about 150m to 200m of wire ...

i use piano wire which i bought from a hobby shop which come in sizes 1mm and up. the sizes i like to use the most are 2mm and 2.5mm

i get great containers from work. i get sauce bottles which hold about 3 litres which holds a hell of a lot of rings and better yet they are free.

serpentine it is for amour just for a bit of fun since i didn't finish my last one the rings were a bit to crappy so this one is a hell of a lot better. it is made from 1.6mm galvy, with a 7mm ID.

5/16= 7.9375mm
16 ga= 1,291mm

i picked jewelery because i make more jewelery than armour. if you had a choice of making jewelery and amour i would have picked that as i enjoy them both.
