People love my Poptab shirt at the Michigan Ren Fest. I probably get more attention from wearing that than I would from wearing maille.

Use a magnet. SS is not magnetic, and galvy is.

I love this weave, and I want a tight permy of it eventually, but I can't for the life of me connect two ends of a chain of it together right. Does anyone have any tips, pictures, etc?

In reference to where to cut the rings, I would take my cue from Lamp chains, the links of which are cut along the long side of the oval.
