Is it really sterling silver or is it plated? I've seen too many places that couldn't seem to tell the difference.

And since shipping is actually probably only .80 or so, shipping is where they are ...

That was my thought. And a far cry from needing to be shut down for any reason. I'll have to look at Wikibooks though, might work for something else I have been thinking about.

I use Tool Magic sometimes, tape on pliers, etc. Nylon jawed pliers I've found to be pretty useless for closing and opening rings. The jaws just aren't small enough for me.

Yes, the fumes are not good for you. Just dip, seal the jar back up, and set to dry. Once it is dry there is no problem with the stuff.
