Dragonsteps
Article © MAIL User: 925maille

As with Dragonscale, for Dragonsteps the small rings must fit inside large ones. Large rings only go through small rings.

In this tutorial I have used 1,5mm hard sterling wire wrapped on 4,5mm and 7,5mm mandrels.
AR of 3 and AR of 5. This makes a nice flexible bracelet.

Yellow rings are new rings.
Red rings are the ones the new rings goes through.

Step 1: Close two small rings. Put them on a large one and close it.

Step 2: Close one large ring. Put it on top of the first large ring, with the rightmost small ring standing up through the middle. The large ring will be locked in place in the next step.

Step 3: Put a large ring through the two small ones. It should be laying on top of the previous large ring.

Step 4: Put one small ring through the second large, in the point between the two small rings.

Step 5: Put another small ring through the same large ring. This time on the right side of the previous small ones.

Step 6: Put a large ring through the second pair of small rings. Still on top of the previous large one.

Step 7: Put a small ring through the third large one. Once again in the spot between the previous pair of small ones.

Step 8: Put another small ring through the same large ring. This time to the left of the previous small rings.

Step 9: Put a large ring through the third pair of small rings. Still on top of the previous large ring.

Repeat step 4 to 9…

Good luck!
