Shenanigans
(Preclose Small Rings)
Article © MAIL User: oneringshortofafullcoil
To make this weave you will need two ring sizes
One that will fit inside the other, anything that works for a loose Dragonscale, should work. For the sake of visual clarity the rings I chose have a lot of extra space.

1 First make a one-one chain, alternating large and small rings, with a large link at each end.

2 Then arrange them so the large links sit one on top of the other, with the small links sitting through the eye, on the bottom. This should be about the length of the final product, so make adjustments now. Be careful, the tighter the fit between the large and small rings the more the weave will contract and the small rings will stand on end.

3 Next slide a closed small link onto an open large link

4 And pass the open large link between the two large links, add a second small link, pass under the large ring and close. (see next pic)

5 Now take a large open ring pass it through the most recently-added small ring, between the two large rings (on the top row) add a small closed ring and then continue under the large ring and close.

Repeat steps 4 & 5 until you reach the end of your chain.

Hope you enjoy this weave as much as I have, Thanks Grace.
