Making Coils with Knitting Needles

Yes, knitting needles. I started out using bolts and nails and things, but one day while I was knitting a sweater for my newborn son I had an idea, I could wrap my wire around knitting needles. I tried it and it worked. I used to use nails and bolts with the threads cut off, I also used old radio antennas. I found that knitting needles work better because not only are they perfectly round, they already have a cap on one end to keep your wire from slipping off, you can make longer lengths of coils, and you know the circumference of your rings because the knitting needles are already sized. I don’t know why somebody didn’t think of using knitting needles before.
