Captive Inverted Round
(CGI)
Article © MAIL User: Dark Dragon
Step #1. First make a 2-1-2-1-2 chain like this:

Step #2. Then connect the ends with another ring like this:

Step #3. Now take the paired rings and flip one up and one down like this:

Step #4. Now add a closed ring between the three top rings, this will be the captive ring.
Note that depending on the AR of the rings you are using you may be able to use two or more rings.

Step #5. Next add three more rings on top. This part is hard, if you let the top rings flip down it can release the captive ring and it can be a pain to put back in.

Step #6. Now add another closed ring. Then three more rings.

Now just continue adding rings until you get the length you want. You can connect the ends together to make a circle or add a few rings to lock the end closed.
