European 4 in 1 Thrice
Article © MAIL User: Serpentine
(see http://www.mailleartisans.org/weaves/pics/2476three4in1bygodemperorletoii.jpg for an image).
Step 1: Get two equivalent piles of links, one of size A and another of size B. Size A has to be able to fit inside size B and if you want the weave to sit correctly, there should be enough room for four more A links connecting to the B link.
The blue link is size B. As you can see, a red size A link can fit inside with room to spare - at least enough for four more A rings to link with the size B ring.

Step 2: Make a sheet of European 4 in 1 with the larger (blue, size B) links.
Step 3: Open all of the size A links (the small ones). Link one to four size B links that are all linked with one common B link. The size A link should rest inside the common link. If it doesn't, then take it out and try again in a different way.

Step 4: Repeat Step 3 until all the B links have an A link sitting inside them.
You should end up with a sheet of Euro 4 in 1 thrice. If there are any mistakes in the article, then please tell me.
Good mailling.
