DescriptionHow to for my fidget spinner
I have used the bearing from a purchased spinner and i have learned that bearings can vary in size. The one in the picture is 2 cm in diameter. All of the rings are 18 gauge. Starting from the middle and working out i first made a strip of 4 in 1 half persian with 7/32 rings (could use ¼) it is connected but i did not use a tutorial to do it so if you can find one it’s a good idea. I also used e6000 industrial strength adhesive to glue the chain to the bearing. The chain is snug enough but i wanted the extra assurance.
I then used 3/16 rings and went around the “eye” in the persian weave, every other one so i have 12 in total. Add 2 rings of same size to each of the 12. I purchased 2 inch welded o rings to complete the spinner and using 5/16 rings i grabbed a ring from each pair side by side like japanese weave and attach them to the welded ring.
you could use the caps from a purchased spinner to cover the bearing. I hope this is clearer than mud. And now you know why i don’t want to do a tutorial. I will add a pic to try and illustrate the eye.
