DescriptionMy take on Byzantine Ringmaille, where unlike the weave entry's version, this one has the horizontal and vertical connector rings doubled, as they normally are in Byzantine.Rings used: metal | mandrel | ID / WD = AR aluminum | 1/8" (3.17mm) | .135" (3.43mm) / .047" (1.19mm) = AR of 2.9 aluminum | 3/16" (4.76mm) | .206" (5.23mm) / .047" (1.19mm) = AR of 4.4 aluminum | 15/64" (5.95mm) | .258" (6.55mm) / .047" (1.19mm) = AR of 5.5 This combination provides nice flexibility for general use.
