Staggered Byzantine Across Grain

DescriptionThis is a sample of Staggered Byzantine taken across the grain of its sheet form. I inadvertently stumbled on this when trying to construct Lylo with a single size of ring, which should be possible, just not with the size of ring I was using at the time.
This is not the most flexible weave at this AR, but there is probably enough up and down flex in it to go around a neck. Side to side flexibility is much more restricted. Flexibility references are made with the width of the sample oriented parallel to the ground.
14g 1/4" machine cut stainless steel rings.
This image is part of my 100 rings (approximately) experiments.
Ring total: 106
