DescriptionMy second chainmail-wrapped pen. This time I used titanium, 18 gauge, 3/16" ID rings in an 'inverted spiral' weave for most of it. At the base (bottom-left), to even it off, I progressively used smaller rings for the last two rings (difficult to see in a picture), followed by entangling rubberized rings around it to keep it from spreading apart. The tip is just an inverted roundmail, with various ring sizes being needed to get the inverted spiral to work decently into the inverted roundmail. The very tip Is a ring held on with 24 gauge stainless steel wire just woven in and around the top inverted spiral rings. I wanted the tip to look 'cleaner' than on my last pen.Weave(s) Used (Click to View Weave)Inverted RoundImages Tags (Click to Search Gallery)Tag(s): Accessories, Functional, Graduated, Modification, Titanium, WrapWeave(s): Inverted Round |
