DescriptionPlaid. This may be a new weave. Kudos to Tesserex who noticed the pattern in a patch of Pop Tab 4-1 I submitted. Making this patch I could envision numerous permutations. This patch has all of the ‘clovers’ (as opposed to fivelets) on the same bias. Stripes could be made by alternating the bias either row by row or column by column. A check pattern can be made by alternating the bias every other clover. It can also be made in a corduroy version, either all up, all down, alternating or check. There may be a number of others. Stats: All rings 19ga. Stainless Steel. Large rings in the European 4-1 ‘clovers’ are 3/16” I.D. The small rings used in the Japanese 2-1 connections are 1/8” I.D. Sizes are before spring back. This weave may work better with smaller I.D. Japanese rings.I will probably replace this picture after I replace a couple of rings with bad cuts and tumble the piece.
