DescriptionThis was my first attempt at making riveted maille using 16SWG black annealed steel.
The rings are very flat (unnecessary as only the riveted section must be flat to aid in punching) and ugly. I attempted to make rivets from both small pieces of wire(18SWG) and steel pins. Anyone attempting to make riveted maille should avoid looking at this ugly pic!
