Just started playing with the EPDM rings from TRL

Here is my first piece.

Stats
Euro 4 in 1
18 gauge 3/16 ID EPDM (90 rings)
18 gauge 3/16 ID Stainless Steel (120 rings)

the rings are tougher than I expected, but also softer,
my next EPDM piece will probably be a kings maille watch band.

What does EPDM stand for? Just wondering what kind of wire & coloring they are. Thanks!

EPDM --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EPDM_rubber
Its basically rubber, not wire, so it stretches so the cuffs have no catches etc, they are simply a Euro 4 in 1 tube that stretches enough to fit over the hand. visit the TRL website for more info on colors etc.

Great for lighter weight. I read somewhere that they use these types of rings a lot for use on armour used in movies, since the actors don't appreciate wearing 30 lbs of metal all day long.
