1.2mm Galvy 5mm ID Byzantine Chains with Thumb cuff Ends for Pants
Chains without Pants
Pants With Chains, Rear
Pants With Chains, Front
This is the same weave as I used on the cuffs, http://www.mailleartisans.org/board/viewtopic.php?t=9354, I decided to use it to make a pair of pants a bit more interesting. The thumb cuffs are toy ones for kids from a hobby/toy shop, with the chain removed and the much longer byzantine used in it's place. |

Those are great, the pants must be a lot more fun to wear with those chains and cuffs The tabs and grommets on the pants scream for a mailler to put something there. |

yes well, I use bz for keychains and I must say I've had no complaints. Also gives you the opportunity to mix link types I like stainless with a copper inlay. Looks darn sexy.

appologies for the bad photo it's very old (about 6-7 years now) and I wasn't that good then. |

Thanks
The pants are great Found them at a shop called ministry of style, they mainly do raver clothing, there are functional chunky zips 2/3 of the way up to the knee, and some straps and buckles on the sides, my only complaint is no back pockets. really comfy to wear and as Eowyn pointed out absolutely begging for a little modification. I haven't had a chance to wear them out with the chains and cuffs but I'm looking forward to any excuse I got the pants before mailling, and started playing with cords, but the maille works so much better.
