Heh, I disagree. I don't have enough time or I'd have at least 1500 here too.
I've been doing a lot of abstract painting lately, extremely abstract. No brush, no paint, no canvas. I just think about it. |

You skipped my favorite weapon combo, throwing knives and a short sword. Like a dagger and sword, but you have more than one of these 'daggers', and they can be thrown.
| AmadeusMaxwell wrote: | Well my first weapon of choice is my hands. Yall can have all the weapons you want, my hands are sufficient for me.
However, since that isn't an option in the poll I chose my second favorite: The Two-Handed Axe. Not only can they rip a person apart, but even if someone tries to block you'll either destroy their weapon, if that's what they're blocking with, or you'll break their arm if they block with a shield. Regardless, a single blow with a massive two-hander will cripple your opponent. Their only means of winning is either dodging every strike or running.

Yes, but if you miss, your opponent will wound/kill you in the time it takes for you to stop your heavy axe's momentum.

That's why you make the arc of your swing in a manner that you can easily redirect the momentum and you can continue to swing repeatedly. Plus, if I ever did make a bad swing that might leave myself open, I would just drop the Axe so I don't have to put myself in danger and resort to using my previously stated favorite weapon.

| Two handed axe is kinda cool, you can take out a rider and the horse with one swing if you do it right. |

trench Knife, the blade from the top looks like a triangle so the wound dosn't heal very fast (wwI and wwII era).

I whirlwind with the sword/axe
I'm probably more of a rapier/dagger kind of guy, though I wouldn't be against using a buckler. Of course, I love hammers as weapons, too. |

is this only for swords, axes and the like...? or can i say i prefer the long bow. i've had some fencing and do know my way around the blade but i find a beauty in archery. i'm currently working on making a crossbow. it's tough to find the spring steel for the bow part tho. i make the arrows and bolts myself.
i also enjoy the black powder rifle and sling.
someday i wanna build a trebuchet. but i'll need a field first. |

Haven't been training in years, too much work in university I plan to go back to a rigourous training regimen though, to get back to my normal 210lbs. I move far too slowly now to be able to do any damage =p
edit:
Amadeus, ever consider sparring without the gear? It builds up speed, stamina and endurance a lot faster. Not sure about strength though, but most definitely speed.
