Well, seeing as how a lot of the maillers here are within the vicinity of each other, how about organizing a massive maille fest or something? Offer workshops, sell finished products, etc... all under the M.A.I.L. banner. Then 10% of all the profit goes to the site or something. Not sure about the 10%, I'm an English teacher, not an accountant Razz

Ah well, that's my mad idea for the day Razz

Sounds cool, but where would it be? I mean, Louisiana's not on the way to anywhere, and the Philipenes don't seem to be either...Would be cool, though.

Well, my neck of the woods would most definitely be out of the question =p Just a random thought. Some of the people who live closer together might be able to organize something.

we could charge too much money for the gathering, and then tell people they can't come to keep the attendance numbers down while keeping the profit margins up. refunds would be silly at this point.

_then_ once we have them all (the ones we let come) at the gathering we should give them one small piece of knowledge and then hold it over their heads for the rest of their lives.

We should put together a big maille fest but put it far into the future so everyone has time to make plans and gather money/vacation time for it.

I've been doing a lot of abstract painting lately, extremely abstract. No brush, no paint, no canvas. I just think about it.

hopefully it cant be somewhere near oregon...or at least the pacific-ish side of the US...

But I actually seriously think the whole 3-year thing is a good idea. if we plan in like a year, then plenty of people can put time aside to come and...maille. I would try and make it to any ones in the US, but it depends on what my parents say, really... Rolling Eyes

Even though it'd be more convinent for myself if it were in Texas; it's hot and boring here, plus I'm tired of this place. I've noticed a huge concentration of people in Michigan so perhap somewhere farther North around there.

What if we held it in Canada near TRL? Buisness for them would probably go out the roof, and if we got a hundred or more people to show up we could just go down the block and BAM we have more supplies. I don't really know anything about Canada though...Plus TRL might not want the strain of having so many maillers so close by at one time. *shrug*

Hey if this thing really happens, do yall want to organize some sort team project? Perhaps we could just continue the longest chain project...Can you imagine how much we'd all get done in one day... Surprised

Look on the TRL forums under gatherings, and you should be able to find some stuff really easily about the TRL gathering they just had. I mean last week kind of just had. If it was longer than last week, oh well, get over it. Very Happy
