Do you have 10 or 20 rings of odd material or colour that you don't know what to do with?
No. I -always- cut exactly as many as I need.

I have a vision.
It is a bracer made out of seemingly random rings.
Different materials, colours, etc.
Well... just materials and colours.

In short... does anyone have 10 or 20 rings they have no idea what to do with? ~14 guage... ~3/8" ID...

I need about 600-750 rings. If anyone has any rejects, wire scraps, leftover rings, or just.... whatever! Especially in odd colours or materials.... I'll gladly take them off your hands for you.

PM me if interested. I am willing to re-imburse you for your investments if neccesary.

Thanks again,

I have a lot of reject rings lying around, but most of them are smaller than that I'm afraid. However...I just got a bunch of TRL's floor sweepings, I *might* be willing to share some of the stuff close to that size Razz . Looks like most of it is galvy or aluminum though, I haven't sorted through yet.

Would 7/16" be too big? 'Cause I've got a few bronze and stainless in that size that I'm not likely to use...

Anything 12-16 AWG, 5/16-7-16 ID would be great.... Unless it's like... 16GA, 7/16" brass... lol....

So in short..... yeah... send 'em, I'll use 'em in the bracer if nothing else.

Thanks. Smile

i can get you 150 rings right off the bat. It doesnt sound like much, but when you have rings that big you can strech a few a long way.

I just sent you a package. Mostly bronze, some stainless, a smattering of AA, blackened, and punched rings. They're all roughly in the 7/16"-3/8" range.

Hehe, it was interesting to send a package of rings through the post office. First my parents, "Hey, I've got some rings I need to mail?" "Well, dear, anything ELSE new, then?" Then there was filling out the customs thing: "Detailed description of contents and quantity"...er, um...well... And then there was the "What value is it?" question... "This will sound weird...it's junk rings?" "OK, we'll say five dollars then." Coif Cool Smiley

Thanks!!!
I"ll let you know when I get them...
In the meantime... anyone else have junk rings?
It doesn't matter how they're cut, or how bent up they are as long as they are about the right size... "junk maile".... right? Smile

Thanks again,

Got your rings, ArmoredDrake!

Wow.... there's some pretty neat ones in here..... but they're so assorted! I love it!!! I'll throw some galvy in there to raise the count, but I still need more.....

Anyone else have spare rings? (No, I'm not a ring moocher, I'll trade for them if I have to. Razz)

They may be slightly tarnished, but im sure you wont mind too much Coif Cool Smiley

If you wouldn't consider coathanger rings *boring*, I'd be willing to send some your way. My cousin didn't appreciate the great gift I gave him. Crying (very sad) I mean, you did ask for *junk* maille, and you don't get closer to that than fuzzy coat hangers... They're about 14 gauge size too.
