What if you put a sticky thread about Alpha and Beta projects in Knitting Circle? I think it'd draw more attention.

I think I'll go start making a patch for this as soon as I finish my entry for the theme contest...We really should get a few people making things, and then we can get the quilt done.

what about "quilt patch" as the next theme contest?
use whatever wire you want for the middle, i'll put it on the bottom row if it's not strong enough to hold the rest of the quilt. also, i may come up with a way to display it which takes the weight off of the quilt and puts it on the display.

[Elmer Fudd] I hope you realize, this means war. *puts on helmet*[/Elmer Fudd]

I've been doing a lot of abstract painting lately, extremely abstract. No brush, no paint, no canvas. I just think about it. |

so, does anything ever happen on this Alpha Project? I was also wondering. On you Alpha Project page it says to use 1/4' rings for the edging. Is this what you mean or do you want 1/4" rings. thanks.

| 1/4" rings is correct; there is a glitch that will occasionaly not allow a submission using the " symbol; for whatever reason it monkeys with the submission system. Highly annoying. At any rate, when that happens people will usualy use the ' symbol to get around that little bug, and asume that readers will use common sense and figure out what was really meant. It's the best we can do for now. Hopefully that little glitch will be gone when we move to the new server. |

yes of course, but I find it extremely dangerous to assume much. Though in this case I would have been fine. And After I posted here I found the thread in the Gallery Discussion so......(thanks for being patient)
