Okay...Donation made.
Now, still waiting on some feedback for that 'donation auction' I'm willing to do. Is there any interest in this at all?

we could discuss putting it to use paying our bills..
don't want our doman name captured by a hongkong search engine again.. that felt like we were eaten by "the nothing" from neverending story.

I agree. I don't believe Lorenzo was ever reimbursed for last year, although I could be wrong. He should certainly be reimbursed ahead of time this year. As far as the domain name, that's only $10 a year, and I look at it as my financial contribution to the organization.

i seem to recall that lorenzo got paid off after the fact except for a chunk of cash that he 'donated'. but, yes.. we should get him his dollars pre-'payment due'.
thank you for the domain, blaise!

Well... MAIL just received a $250 donation from Urban Maille ChainWorks !!!
While I'm at it MAIL also received $10 from Eric Mount and $20 from
Christopher Wright. These 2 donations alone would have made it a goood week for fundraising.
Account is at $477.75 USD
I think we've covered for web hosting. |

Most excellent!
I move we immediately cut a check to Lorenzo for this year's webhosting fees.
Someday I'm going to have time to rig up an automated recognition system...
$250? Which of our members is Urbanmaille? You should come on out and take a bow!

Holy Crap!
That's so awesome. Just think about how much of a donation that is. Think about how much time you'd have to put into chainmaille to turn a profit of $250. This person gave that much away.
Thank you thank you thank you. I only hope that MAIL has helped you in turn by providing you the resources to make that much money.
Blaise, if this was a paypall donation, send that email address a reply with this thread in it.
I am even more ashamed of not donating anything yet. |

Aislyn at UrbanMaille is a regular on the About.com and Delphi forums. UrbanMaille itself is quite well-known (and well-respected) as a supplier of sterling silver rings, although it seems that they have more of a presence on those forums. They're good folks.

I was startled to run across this thread today and thought I'd better post and say hello and uh... mention that I'm not Nancy. MAIL is a wonderful resource and I'm grateful to be in a position to contribute in some way to its upkeep. Thanks to all of you who do the work. *s*
