We might let you get away with 17g, but there's no reason you can't make 5/16 rings.

Well, I have just learned HP 3-1, as many of you might have noticed my thread about it...

And I just picked up some 16Ga galvy and a 5/16" mandrel, yay! Very Happy Smile

So, as of now, I have about a two foot section already made, with plenty more to come. I am working on a poptab overcoat as well, so I won't be able to put all my time into the chain. Tis ok though, it's a good ongoing project for when I'm bored and stuff.

Any word on Guiness? Or how about how long the chain is?

-Dustin

EDIT EDIT EDIT: Oh my...*gaspzor* this thread is almsot a year old, yet it's only the 5th thread on the Group Projects page...? Wow, I seem to have found that this forum moves slowly...

Is this project even still going? I'd love to know if it is, cos if not then theres no point to me continuing my chain...

I would, but teaching high school English doesn't really give me that much time, added to that the MA, I don't really have much time for maille any more. But cheers to all that are participating, I'll pitch in as much moral support as I can!

I still have 40 some feet at home, and Maxum X has 40 some miles... not really, but about a mile and a half. His alone dwarfs the rest of us combined.

Since this thread hadn't been posted in for over 4 years, that might give you a clue. That, and many of the people in this thread have scattered to the four winds.
