I have been making a candle holder over the past week. And now I have the most part of it done. So I thought I would post some pics, and show you all!!!

Its made mostly in 16swg Bright Aluminum. And some red AA rings.

Wow, thats looking really cool as it is.

The only way I can see the top being esily ballanced is to have weight under the candle. To establish a center of gravity. Without a definte sorce of weight every time the candle cup shifts so will the weight distribution and thus the top will 'tip' as it is now.

Also, mabey try connecting the spiral chain's to the Euro 4-1 from the top. Its hard to see if you have enough room to or not. This will help even out the weight too, with them loose the weight distribution over the center of gravity will shift, thus you get tippage. Actually, I Think this would greatly solve your problem. Assuming that thats Bright Aluminum, you maille weight is nothing compaired to candle weight.. centering the candle's weight shop stop the top from leaning. Its going to be hard to get it perfect I think.

Even still, assuming that first pic show all that it leans I'd say thats fine. It really does look good as it is.

Thanks Chubbs!!! I didn't clarify exactly whats going on =P. (Although I didn't know this till fiddling with it a bit) If I hold the large ring from 1 side, every thing slides to the other side. I need to mabey make a expanding e4in1 for the top I think.

And I think my orbit needs to be a bit tighter. although I don't have other rod sizes that are just smaller or anything. So I think I'm going have to dig up some of my old 14swg galvy 5/16"ID rings. As the 16swg 5/16"ID aluminum is too loose. Just have to find them!!!

The other thing I got out of fiddling with it, was that the (Vines) are not even. This is some what because there base's are not the same level. Only the vines base's opposite from each other are the same. The difference is about 1/8", if that!!!

I gotta list the ring sizes to =P.

Thanks!
(Oh look, only 2 post till i get 500 post, yippee!)

Very pretty! When the candlelight hits the rings, it's going to really sparkle.

@bigtitann: The problem solver for your triangle's bases slipping around the large ring is to connect the bases - a simple 1-1 chain threaded over the large ring would suffice - see sample pic.
