i feel like there should be a reference to euro 6in1 and spiral 4in1 in the description rather than an origin story and its super power. other related Stacked Spiral

An intriguing-looking weave, though it has a higher AR than I usually have available to work with.
And I have no idea how to make it, apart from "it starts with a four-ring Mobius".

Craft isn't cheaper than therapy, but it's more fun.

Only getting around to actually making my notes on this one until now...

I attempted Helix with rings of AR of 6.86.
It works, rings still pretty loose (to do the aforementioned "fold" and preferred direction).
For anyone else interested in other specs, it is a 6 in 1 weave, not very stable (as most spiral weaves), and is NOT rotationally symmetric (in the weave image, left middle and left bottom are front/back of the same).

With this smaller AR, I can't make the weave stack up like the right column.
Will add pictures to the gallery when I get some better lighting.

Upon closer inspection, this statement is incorrect. Top left image of the weave is rotationally symmetric, but mid+bottom left can be formed by squishing in 1 of 2 directions.

In fact, given a long enough piece, you can alternate between the 2 directions. Of course, once I get some good lighting (been pretty cloudy as of recent) I'll show an instance of this.

My eyes are pretty bad. Upon re-counting about 5 times, I'm now seeing a 7 in 1 count. The best way that I can describe this weave now is that it is 2 Spiral 4 in 1 chains intertwined through a European 6 in 1 connection. The 7 in 1 comes from 4 in the chain direction + 3 connecting between chains.

I suspect that one could also make other variants of merging together spiral chains with european connections.
