Even though I've bought and made the wired earrings, I have a request to make some clip-on earrings. Is there a clip-on attachment that can be readily used with rings. Keep in mind I'm not capable of soldering.

you could make a little spring with longer ends that pinch on to the earlobe.

see i was thinking something like this
as you can see it hangs on
i made this one out of 16swg bright aluminium, and the coil was made on a 5/16". it would probably work better with spring tempered steel but this one might hold a little weight without falling off it isnt going anywhere under it's own weight anyway.

Yes, clip-on earring findings that work with maille do exist!

As someone who wears clip-on earrings, my preferred types are
* adjustable clip-ons
* ear-wraps, which are surprisingly comfortable


Craft isn't cheaper than therapy, but it's more fun.

oh i like the ear wraps, those are pretty and would hold the weight the best.

Oh, I like the torsion spring idea. You could use a 1/2 hard in about any metal. This also gives me an idea for ear lobes that have gages.
