For some reason the site is saying that my pic is more than 100kb but it's only 93kb. It is under the 800 pixel limit... is there something I'm missing?

Those size limits pertain to images being submitted to the Gallery. If you just want to post an image to a thread then you need to have the image hosted on another site then link to it using the following BBCode.
Code:

[img]http//:www.yourhostingsite.com/yourpicture.jpg[/img]

If you are submitting to the Gallery and still getting that error, I don't know but I'm sure DL will.

Only other requirement that I'm aware of is that the file is a .JPG file.

PPI and DPI are not always the same thing. What are you using to resize the image?

It can be that the file contains spaces. I've gotten the same error but when I looked into it the file had spaces in the filename, and upon removing those the file could be uploaded correctly.

IE: ChainMailleBracer.jpg
instead of Chain Maille Bracer.jpg

That's odd and shouldn't happen, I'll look into that.

Operating System, Browser and Version info plz!

Regarding the error messages being somewhat... Less than accurate... That's a much bigger issue, and I'll take a good long look at the code with my bug-bazooka tonight.

Chances are it was Lorraine that moved it... She knows that I'm far more likely to see the post here than sitting in the Gallery forum Smile No apology necessary!

I'm around off and on when I'm in the middle of show-hell at work, and the MAIL Help is the one forum I can be relied on to look at with any regularity.

That's exactly why I moved it. I knew DL would read it. Very Happy
