I know that Canada celebrates at a different time and other countries may not celebrate in the comma-inducing way we do in America, but I would like to say that I am thankful for this community and all that you have taught me.

I hope that you have a great day and remember all those things you are thankful for in your life.

With a very full stomach and a thankful heart, Happy Thanksgiving or whatever you may or may not be celebrating today! I might have had some wine too...

Comma-inducing? Confused

And so far as I know, Thanksgiving is a purely North American festival. In some ways, a pity, since it is good to be reminded of those things which are thankworthy. But the origins of the festival are tied up with the history of the colonisation of North America. I know the first settlers in Australia had little to be thankful for, considering it was a penal colony. Wink

Some people, myself being one of the people, have a tendency to eat to much and seeing as turkey is usually the main meal I usually fall asleep for at least a couple hours after eating our Thanksgiving meal.

We normally don't celebrate thanksgiving here in Sweden, but I hope everyone had a nice turkey-devouring fest hehe Uber Raz

Oh, you meant coma, not comma. That makes more sense.

Hope everyone had a nice holiday Smile

Since Wednesday, my husband and I have had 3 Thanksgivings.

I think I picked up a cold or something. I started feeling sick last night while putting up our Christmas tree :/

I know that I haven't been on the boards for a while, but I just have to comment and say that I've only very rarely been induced into a comma. Wink Very Happy Coif LoL
