Book colors, I like that combination better Smile

Although now I have been trying for a few hours but the image posting isn't working for me right now :/ I don't know what I'm doing wrong :/ I've got the right tags and everything, but it just doesn't show up.

Try posting the entry again. Even if it doesn't work one of us may be able to figure out what the problem is and fix it. Smile

Ok well here it is:

This is a variant of sorts of Shaggy Pind Loopage, except it's loose enough to be more of a Spiral 4 in 1 instead of JPL, and instead of one Shaggy Loops style ring on each, I have two.

Rings are 16g 5/16" ID anodized aluminum from TLR.
Bronze and blue are the book colors for the house of Ravenclaw (as stated before).

Is this Anodized Aluminium?

Edit - just fixing this post so that I don't screw up later and post the entry under the wrong name. Very Happy ~ Lorraine

This is a modification of the Triumvirate unit. This version has all the rings in the Japanese 3 in 1 / 6 in 1 part doubled.

The horizontal rings in the Japanese 6 in 2 part are .062" (1.6mm / ~16SWG) 7/32" (5.6mm) (AR of 3.9) and the verticals are slightly smaller at 3/16" (4.8mm) (AR of 3.3). The corner rings are 1/4" (6.35mm) (AR of 4.4).

The two large central rings on each side are .080" (2.0mm / 14SWG) 13/32" (10.3mm) (AR of 5.6), and finally the orbitals are 5/16" (7.9mm) (AR of 4.3).

It's made out of bright aluminum and contains 50 rings. This doubled version makes the construction a little more manageable, due to rings of higher ARs being used. I used as common (imperial) ring sizes as I could. The large, central rings, which nicely nestle themselves between the vertical rings of the J6-2 section, had to be a pretty specific size though in order to work properly.

There is no such thing as weave ownership. If someone produces a weave sample, they own that physical piece of mail, but not rights to the weave pattern itself.

Here comes my entries. They are just small patches of weaves but look extremely neat in person.

First Item:

Lepidus Variant. I came up with this while undertaking the challenge to create the neat little strand. Although starting with Lepidus, I think something went wrong during the process and it's probably closer to Atheris or even Sistrurus.

As can (probably not) be seen, the outer rings go through 3 rings each and the center ring go through 5. This is the reason it is spiralling itself!!!

Second Item:

This is something that occurred while trying to fix the spiralling of the First Item. Neither Viperscale nor Lepidus but don't know what it might be (a new weave?).

(Same object on both images)

I know for sure these aren't Viperscale since the outer rings go through 3 rings, while in Viperscale they go through 2. The center ring go through 5 (First Item) and 6 (Second Item) rings so that is another thing saying that it ain't Viperscale.

If it is a new thing, let me know Very Happy

Both objects were made in 1mm Iron Wire with an AR of 7.

EDIT: In Viperscale the inner rings go through 6, since it also passes through the outer rings and all four middle rings. In my objects the center ring therefor passes through 8 rings and not 6, as well as 7 instead of 5.
