This is where you vote for the theme of contest 22. You have one week to decide and then we can all start weaving some awesome entries! Voting will end on Monday July 15th!

_____________________________________________
Contest Rules
1. Entries must be previously unsubmitted work. Entries must be at least 2/3 maille woven within the time frame of the contest. The remaining 1/3 can be any maille previously woven or any non-maille. Maille consists of any rings, metal or otherwise, or ring substitutes like scales or pop tabs. Non-maille consists of things like beads or wire wraps.

2. You can submit as many entries as you like.

3. Pictures and descriptions of the entry must be submitted to the contest submission thread before the deadline, by hosting the pictures offsite. (In other words, you need to use an image hosting site to place your picture in the entry thread. They are free to use, you just have to register with them to create an account. Some examples of image hosting sites are TinyPic, Photobucket, Flickr, and ImageShack.) Pictures must be a MAXIMUM of 100KB and a MAXIMUM of 800px per side.

4. The submission period for entries generally lasts 12 weeks. After the deadline for contest entries, the contest organizer will create a voting thread with all the entries, to be voted on by the membership. The entire membership may vote, each member having one vote. Polls usually last one week before the winner is declared.

5. The winner of the contest will receive a colored shield by their avatar with a number corresponding to the contest they won. The winner will also be granted automatic inclusion of their suggestion on the list of themes for the next contest.

6. The contest organizer may invalidate any entry. If you have concerns about your or any other entry, please contact the contest organizer with a PM. If the contest organizer deems it necessary, a new thread for public discussion will be opened.

Er, "two tone" doesn't appear to have a selection-thing next to it.

Thanks kerravosen. I accidentally put it as the title instead of a choice. Two tone is at the bottom now.

It was hard to decide what to vote for, but I am happy, because there are so many great theme suggestions that I think I will enjoy doing whichever theme wins.

Is there a way to do a search and get a list of all the weaves without a gallery submissions?

If it wins, it might be a good idea to start a thread about it. Could easily start with the date of submission for a good likelihood of not having any gallery submissions. Otherwise, I do not know of a specific search function to find them.

If it wins I would say to go to the weave section, find a category that interests you and start going through the entries. I can't think of an easy way of doing it, but I am sure if it wins and DL is not to busy he will come up with some snazzy, techno-savy way of helping us out.

It'd be a short SQL Call, so yes... Vote without fear, I can make anything happen.

crossing my fingers for elements. I fear there may be a reason why no one has made some weaves.

That's true for some of them, but there are really a few gems in there that people haven't tried. Smile

(nods) For example, One and a Half Half Persian 3 in 1 was one which didn't have a gallery entry until very recently - I rectified this omission by making a keychain and submitting it to the gallery myself. A cool weave, it's just that nobody had done it.

It's true that "classic" weaves have a lot of gallery entries, but there are many nice variants that have no entries simply because they're new. I have my eye on older weaves too, such as Handfast Weave, Draco Esse and Latasti, just to name a few.
