Does M.A.I.L. take submissions for scale techniques? About 5 years ago, I developed a way to weave 2-sided scale strips. I thought I had discovered something everyone else knew how to do already. Since then, I've yet to find anyone else who knows how to do this so I thought I'd submit a tutorial to get it into the data bank... and get credit, of course!

there is at least one article about scalemaille already so your submission should at least be considered unless the one i'm thinking of was grandfathered in. what is this technique? do we get a preview or do I have to wait til it comes out in theaters? maybe just a one photo teaser Smile I can't wait..

As it is a technique that is relevant to/related to chainmaille, I don't think there would be any issue with you submitting the article.

Those look very neat. A way to make it so it won't catch on things!

I'd love to see a tutorial! Smile

I'll not keep you folks waiting too long. This is a pretty big deal for me. Having your name attached to a weave or technique is as big an honor as I can think of.

You know, my mother actually told me I should patent it... lol! I told her how every weave I've learned came from this place and I'd be damned if I'd let something as crass as $ keep me from sharing it and paying back the favor...

Great to hear! Nothing like some friendly "put your feet to the fire" once we saw what you did to get you motivated. Laughing
