I was browsing the weaves here today and took a stab at the Backbone one.

What do you think; did I get it right?

My husband said this one looks more manly that some of the others I've done so far Wink

Looks like you made Backbone. The rings might be a tad large. What size did you use? Backbone is a fun weave. Smile

I used some 5/16 ID 16g SWG I had lying around. They have been used for other things too, so may have had more spring in them than they should Wink

as the inventor of this weave, i approve!! looks great Smile

I've actually just submitted a new weave called persian stitch. It's very similar to backbone, except instead of a 2-2 chain with extra links going around one eye and inside the other, it's two 2-1 chains connected by extra links going around one eye.

This could work really well with a two-tone effect, especially since your aesthetic taste is way better than mine Laughing i've also made a small section in sterling silver 22G 3/32" that looks beautiful! still nailing down the minimum AR, probably between 3.5 and 3.2.
