Dragon? Why yes I make dragons, I really dont think the aspect ratio thing would make too big of a differance with one either. For the most part my dragon is a twisted wire frame sculpture, but for maille puroposes I could clad the body in some sudo micro maille (dragonscalle appropiate enouph?) from a light weight material. My last dragon was 16 inches tall with a 2 foot wingspan. She was beautiful, I am tracking her down now as she has flown the coop. This is a standing, wings spread english style dragon. I dont have any idea on getting my pictures online or posted so sorry about that.
Any body else making something for Beta? Or have I just posted in the wrong place?

you've posted in the correct area, however, i don't know that this is still going on.. unless you wanted to donate it to david austin's castle..
hmm, i've been considering looking in my box of wonders for something for his castle.. if he'd be willing to have us as guests.

the beta project was never decided on fully.. mostly because of lack of interest. and at the time no one knew how to make sculpture but a small handfull of people. now we have more skill runnign around.

Yes I do but I dont know of a site to post them on so I will have to email them to you as soon as I get a chance to scann them in. I have pics of one made from green wire for my squadron, and the first is of different colours and still incomplete. The actual first dragon I made was a commissioned pice for $20 and was around 8in tall. The other two are well over a foot tall as you will see (got a pic of him holding a ruler)

Sacredchao, you and AnglianFry both mentioned a castle...How much of this is actually constructed? I was thinking about making some walls out of sheets of captive inverted round, and putting some crenelations in the front, but I don't know if someone has already made any or what. Also, does anyone know of a weave that has a springy tendency for the arms of a tower mounted ballista?
