You know, I have to say that I really don't like the new format of the articles. There's just something about that huge box with the article title that makes my brain think "pop up window" and then makes me look for a way to close it...before I realize that it's meant to look that way.

Intriguing... Can you do me a favor and share your resolution? It shouldn't be "huge"... Maybe screencap for me?

I can see what you are talking about Jax. If I may make a suggestion: Is it possible to make the title automatically fit in the box as one line. I was looking at one of them that the title was on two lines and it did look odd.

Just some thoughts.

For the most part, yes... But then for the same response, also no...

Several factors will affect the "single line" title, not the least of which being title length... But also screen resolution, font size, widescreen vs 4:3, etc...
(Also, ones with brackets in their title are currently set to display that as a second line)

I think the biggest problem is that it's IN a box. I also don't think it's a resolution problem with my computer...it's a filter resolution problem with my brain. It liked the wide openness of the old articles...and in fact I've been clicking on the "view original article" function to read the articles because they are WAAAAY easier for me to process. I'm afraid of what will happen when it's the new way permanently. Rolling Eyes

New articles link from the front page does take you to a page titled new articles. It probably would be accurately titled if we were in November of 2011. Something on my end or the code end?

That article was deleted by the request of the submitter. Link removed.

Abhainn is having an issue printing when you hit the print article button, it only prints one page. If you hit print preview in your browser window you can get the whole thing but not the on page link. Smile
