i click on the add to favorite button on weave tutorials, and when i go to my MAIL and look at favorites it dosnt show up, if i add it through the weave section it works fine, just not under the article/weave section, and im on the page that shows the weave itself. For example http://www.mailleartisans.org/articles/articledisplay.php?oldkey=22796 if i go and click on the add to site favorites, and then go to the site favorites from My MAIL, it dosnt show up

ok it does still go into my site favorites, but it will only show one favorite at a time, and i have to delete it to see the next one

Intriguing, mine shows multiple.
I'll look into it.

Yeah, that's due to a bug in the Articles section. (Namely: I'd hard coded something in that should be pulled from the DB...) It should work smoothly for everyone who is not me, now.

You'd be right, there is no Article there.
There's a very good reason for that, in fact Smile
It was deleted, not 2 days ago... After we discovered it had no pictures... Had never had pictures... And the user who originally submitted it is looooong gone.
The tutorial would be about as much good to you if it were still there, as it is now... Sorry Sad

That all being said, it should let you know it has been deleted, not just give you a blank Article header like that... I'll look into it.

sooooo, i tried to convert one of my articles the other day..

everything came out centered.. i tried to uncenter it.. i didn't see what was making it centered. the article is left justified before the edit.

all i did was remove the <fontsize> </font> tags.. (i think?)

sorry this took me so long to start.
How I Make Chainmaille

also, what is the chance we can get a quick "copy link" style button like we have on the forum with the "link to post" icon? would be great for weaves and articles. typing out "[article=" is meh.

Article edit previews display centered, regardless of the article formatting.

Tell a mailler what ring sizes to use and they'll weave for a day. Teach them AR and they'll weave forever.

what's so weird? the inverted pliers? that's just cause you haven't learned that joy.. dominant-hand pliers pointed down is the method i've found to be easiest to teach.

I use a bent nose plier in my dominant hand most of the time...so weaving like that would be a major pita for me. In fact I just picked up a regular set of flat nosed pliers and a bracelet I just finished and tried to hold my pliers that way. Feels seriously unnatural and even my limited grip strength that I have (arthritic hands) seems diminished. So yeah. I won't be weaving that way. Razz

You know, I have to say that I really don't like the new format of the articles. There's just something about that huge box with the article title that makes my brain think "pop up window" and then makes me look for a way to close it...before I realize that it's meant to look that way.
