I recently came across this tool called clamptite. It looks like it could have some interesting uses for larger projects. Does anyone have any experience with it or has anyone seen anything made for smaller scale applications? From the videos it appears to just be a threaded bolt that has bars attached to a nut inside of a sheaf (i.e. something theoretically possibly to make a homemade version of).

If anyone has used it, have you tried it with braided wire (be interesting figuring out how to maintain constant tension throughout the braid)?

[edit: realized that I neglected to delete the question mark in the subject when I changed it making it look like I was answering questions and not asking them]
