You know, MM, you could have flipped one of the pliers over and blurred out any part of the addresses that remained visible. |

That would have been a great idea, but I wasn't smart enough to think of that this time. I was just glad I was able to obscure the address as much as I did. Would you like a picture of the opposite side of the pliers? They really are amazing.

FYI: To avoid too much cluttering the Birthday Club's Share thread, I split the pliers discussion off into an own thread in the Knitting Circle. Who wants to follow and/or comment these, may continue at http://www.mailleartisans.org/board/viewtopic.php?t=17302...

Human societies are like chain mail.
A single link will be worth nothing.
A chain is of use, but will break at the weakest link.
A weak weave will have the need to replace weak links.
A strong weave will survive even with weak links included.

Finally got to open my present from Jax25 yesterday and got to make some pictures today so here they are.
I've tried to make picture links so you can click them to get a bigger picture. Hope is works.
It's a 55cm Stainless Steel HP5-1 necklace with 1.6mm rings.
This is a pic my gf made with my "finally turned 30 and all I got was this *** T-shirt"
Some pics in my "studio" on a bust.
One on a log.
A close up of the heavy duty clasp.
Thanks again Jax25, love the stainless |

Yeah. These photos do the piece really justice - both are fabulous and of a high standard...

My gift to Alchemist_Prima is already 2.5 months late, goes to the post office tomorrow. Since he's been so understanding, I decided to at least let him see a picture of what he's getting. Here ya go!

I am still getting used to the forum. I just joined yesterday. I want to join but want to make sure my info isn't floating out there! Use a private message? |

*happy dance* Yay! Mail from here either is quick (goes by plane) or painfully slow (goes by ship). There's no way to tell which way something will go until it takes 2 weeks or 2 months to arrive. |

I know it is summer and all, but we have had people who are slacking in their responsibilities for this club! People are not sending thank you's to people, people are not responding to PM's when asked how things are going...
This club only works when people communicate. I understand it is summer and I will be the first to admit that with all that has gone on this summer I have not been as diligent as I could have been. So let us all make a resolution to follow through with our commitments and if you have any questions, problems or issues with me or how things have been running so far PM me.

Actually got it a few days ago, but I haven't had 5 minutes to myself to post a pic.
Solid brass byzantine bracelet with toggle clasp.
Thank you nomad_zeke! |
